Gap Partners Commits To Significant Expansion At The Rabun County Business Park

Gap Partners has been operating in its original Wolffork Rd. facility since 1985 and in the Rabun Park Business Park since 2010. Now it will increase its size from 70,000 square feet in two buildings to 92,000 square feet in a single building, with an option to expand to 145,000 square feet. Sixty-five Gap Partners employees will be moving to the Rabun County Business Park location in May 2013, and the company anticipates it will add 20 new jobs within the next two years.

“Gap Partners needs room to grow our operation because our revenue grew 50% in 2012 and we expect strong continuing growth,” said Frank Cucchiara, General Manager of Gap Partners. “By consolidating our operations in a larger space, we will realize increased efficiencies that increase our competitiveness in existing markets, and that also allow us to expand into new markets and create new products. Gap Partners is pleased to be working with the Development Authority of Rabun County to foster economic growth and job creation in Rabun County.”

The Development Authority of Rabun County is working with the owner of the Wolffork Rd. facility that Gap Partners is leaving to find a new occupant.
