Gap Partners' original sheet metal fabrication plant in Rabun Gap, Georgia

Work culture and lean manufacturing experts Sherrie Ford and Steve Hollis purchased the company in 2008 and named it Gap Partners, Inc. Sherrie Ford died in 2011.

During 2011, Gap Partners undertook a major expansion by leasing a second facility at the Rabun Business Park.

Today, Gap Partners is owned by Steve Hollis, Chairman and Executive Vice President for Business Development, and Luke Faulstick, President and CEO. They also own Power Partners, Inc., a leading producer of overhead distribution transformers and adsorption chillers, Change Partners, a consulting firm specializing in work culture in manufacturing companies, and StampSource, a metal fabrication and stamping company. The parent company under which all of the businesses operate is called PPI.
